The Lunar Eclipse

In August of 2017, there was a lot of hell-a-ba-loo about the
lunar eclipse.  In the band, and close to the band, of complete coverage,
I’m sure it was pretty cool.  The photos taken in that vicinity were
certainly fun.  But, here in San Jose, Ca., we were simpley too
far south, for any noticeable effects to be recorded.

I didn’t realize this, until after I completed a photo shoot that morning,
in the rolling hills south of San Jose, with the wonderful model, Cat,
from the East Bay.  I was hoping, for glowing ‘ crescent ’ sun shots,
but the moon did not provide enough coverage of the sun, for this to
be seen in the final results.  But, what we were able to do, I think,
turned out pretty cool anyways.  So I like to think this batch of images,
can hold us content, at least until the next lunar eclipse, that might
possibly put on more of a show, here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
